Valleyview Alliance Church is deeply connected to Sturgeon Lake Bible Camp. We are one of five churches that supports and runs the camp. SLBC is located approximately 25 minutes west of Valleyview along Sturgeon lake.
The theme verse of SLBC is 2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.”
The purpose of SLBC is to introduce individuals to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and to help them grow in their relationship with Him. We aim to do this through an annual camping program which is Christ centered and Bible based. This is accomplished through teaching and modeling the word of God in a rustic setting, so that individuals might relate to God, those around them, and view themselves in a Biblical way.
